Vendors Quote
"We have absolutely loved our time at Highfield, especially the local community in the local village of North Curry and our wonderful neighbours. The local families welcomed us and our young son with various groups and activities and we instantly felt at home. The location here is so picturesque, with the ever changing far reaching views. We added a large decking area to make the most of them, and it became quite a feature of the summer, with barbecues and parties for friends and family much needed after lockdown. We also added an authentic Finnish sauna as we have family connections to Finland, and it's a wonderfully relaxing way to spend an evening, looking out over the fields with a cold beer! The past year we've been bringing the house up to date, and working to make the garden a wildlife area. We have a family of hedgehogs as well as birds, slow worms, bees and butterflies now which is exciting to watch. The garden is quite productive too, with walnuts, a peach tree, apples, pears, sloes, damsons, blackberries, raspberries, and blackcurrants established. The greenhouse has been an ideal size for a summer crop of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers with a raised bed providing more allotment style space to grow, although it would also easily convert to a flower bed too. Although now we need to move for work, we hope someone can enjoy the home we have been creating here as much as we have."
