situated between Maidstone Road (A25) to the north and Grove Road to the south.
DESCRIPTION The parcel of woodland forms part of a larger block that continues to the south and west known as Flanes Wood. The northern boundary has good road frontage however access is more easily found from Grove Road on the Southern Boundary. The parcel of woodland is an area of rich biodiversity comprising tree species traditional to local ancient and semi ancient woodland.
The southern half of the woodland contains a number of veteran beech trees as well as oak with a hazel and birch understory. The site is within an AONB and the metropolitan greenbelt. It also has a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) across the whole holding.

When travelling east along Grove Road the southern tip of the woodland can be accessed on the right hand side marked Point A on the plan. There is no off road parking currently available so parking should be in the layby marked L approximately 50 metres to the east of Point A as shown on the attached plan.
