Cysgod-y-Dderwen and Offas Dyke Fishery is an established coarse fishery comprising two attractive pools and 3 bedroom bungalow, set within a site extending to 6.2 acres.

The city of Chester is situated approximately 13 miles east. The North Wales expressway provides access to the M56 and the north west motorway network.

The Fishery

Offas Dyke Fishery was originally built in the 1990s, comprising two mature pools extending to a total water area of 2.15 acres. The fishery is set back, away from the dwelling, with a separate access off the council road and car park. The fishery has previously been run on a day ticket basis and more recently been let to a local angling club.

Large Pool - extending to 1.25 acres. A mature pool with an number of bays, large beds of lilies and islands.

Small PoolŠ- extending to 0.9 acres. A long and narrow pool with an island at each end and a bridge onto a central spit.

The pools have historically been stocked with mixed coarse species. Both pools are fully otter fenced around the perimeter with a steel mesh fence, timber posts and single electric wire.

There is a fisherman's car park located behind the large pool with a small area of grass beyond. The fishery is surrounded by mature trees including oaks, willow and birch.
