Mulberry Cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Templecombe in the unspoilt Blackmore Vale. The village has excellent amenities including a selection of shops, church, primary school, convenience store, village store with post office, sports club, doctor's surgery and railway station, with regular services to Waterloo (2 hours 24 minutes) (see The A357 runs through the village giving quick and easy access to Wincanton (4.8 miles), Sherborne (6.3 miles) and Yeovil (11.9 miles). For other
transport links Castle Cary station (Paddington 90 minutes) is also reasonably close and Bristol Airport (37 miles) is about an hour away. The local area has an excellent selection of schools from both the state and independent sectors including The Gryphon School in Sherborne for secondary education.
