Foxgloves offers flexible accommodation on one level and is currently arranged as a three bedroom main part with a self-contained one bedroom annexe which has been used for holiday letting purposes by the current owners.
Many rooms enjoy lovely far reaching views over the neighbouring South Devon countryside or the property's own paddock which is located immediately at the rear.
There are gardens with various sit-out areas and an attractive pond, and the paddock slopes gently upwards from the garden and would be perfect for keeping a few sheep or chickens. The whole site extends to approximately 1.73 acres as measured on Promap.
Foxgloves occupies a lovely position on the south-eastern edge of Dartmoor in the hamlet of Higher Sigford. Ilsington village with its pub, primary school, community village shop and church is within walking distance via the minor Devon lanes. The open moor at nearby Pinchford Bowl and Haytor Down provide scenic walking and riding country.
Whilst enjoying all the benefits of country living Higher Sigford is within reach of the towns of Ashburton (four miles) and Bovey Tracey (five miles) as well as being less than ten minutes drive of the A38 for Exeter and Plymouth. The market town of Newton Abbot is a twenty minute drive.
