Reception Rooms and Orangery

The orangery is constructed of brick and hardwood with Argon double glazing and a large lantern skylight. There is a Jotul log burning stove and double doors to the rear terrace. The sitting room has a bay window with views of open fields and paddocks, and a Clearview log burning stove set in a recess. There is also a snug with views of the garden and paddock, and a study with views over open countryside to the front.

Kitchen and Dining Room

The kitchen was refitted in 2015 in a custom built range of bespoke painted cabinets, which include glazed display cabinets and an inset larder/pantry, with Corian work surfaces incorporating a sink unit and drainer. Integrated appliances by AEG include a conventional electric oven, a steam oven, gas hob with extractor over, a dishwasher and full height larder fridge and separate freezer. Feature archways lead into the adjacent dining room which has glazed double doors to the rear terrace.

Gardens

The front garden is enclosed by a combination of post and rail fencing and mature hedgerow and is principally lawned with a secret garden, well stocked borders and inset trees. The south facing rear garden has an extensive outdoor entertaining area with both a vine and wisteria over. The remainder is principally lawned with a variety of broad leaf and coniferous trees and shrubs. There is a garden shed, greenhouse, a gazebo and compost bins. To the rear is an area known as The Woodland Walk which includes covered log stores.

Bromham

Bromham has a water mill and a medieval bridge over the River Great Ouse. Local facilities include public houses/restaurants, a village church, lower school and a Budgens superstore. It is within 4 miles of Bedford town centre, the Harpur Trust schools and the station which has rail services to St. Pancras in 47 minutes. Major roads in the area include the A428 to Northampton, the A421 to Milton Keynes, junction 13 of the M1, the A1 and the A422.
