Stratford upon Avon, about 4 miles away, is the region's cultural centre with its Shakespearian heritage and theatres, shops, leisure centre and Wildmoor Spa and Health Club and Welcombe Spa and Golf Club. The Symphony Hall in Birmingham, National Exhibition Centre and Show Ground at Stoneleigh are all within easy reach. There is a wide range of state, grammar and private schools in the area including The Croft Prep school, grammar schools in Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Public and Prep Schools and King's High School and Arnold Lodge school in Leamington Spa. The Cotswolds lie a short distance to the south.
