The Land

You approach the Farm from the tarmac roadway onto a stone track which takes you to the farmyard area adjacent to the house and outbuildings.
The majority of the land, some 26.5 acres in 8 paddocks, surrounds the house and outbuildings with a further 10.5 acres across the roadway split into 3 paddocks.(see land plan attached)
The Land has been used for cropping this year (2020) and is generally in good heart, mostly gently sloping or flat with some of the land on lower levels near the stream being wetter than the rest as seen from the rushes in some of the pictures.

The Outbuildings

The Outbuildings include the old milking parlour, cow shed with cubicles, another detached stone outbuilding and the original stone farmhouse with potential for conversion subject to any consents required. There is also a silage yard and slurry pit just off the yard area.

Directions

From Carmarthen, take the A484 towards Kidwelly. Go through Cwmffrwd and then take the left fork onto the B4309 towards Pontyates & Pontyberem. You need to stay on this road for 4 miles, passing through Bancycapel and Pontantwn. 1 mile after leaving Pontantwn you will see a small x-roads (the x-roads you are looking for is sign-posted Four Roads and is right under where major powerlines cross the road). Turn right here. After 600m you will go past a minor x-roads and the entrance to Ffos Wilkin Farm is approx 100m further along on the left-hand side. Name at entrance and denoted by our for sale board.
