Banhaw Farm is an important Grade II listed farm house, believed to date from the late 17th century and is situated on the edge of the village, with views over its own adjoining paddock land and picturesque rolling countryside beyond. The house has, over a period of time, been extended to provide spacious accommodation, ideal for family living and entertaining.

Banhaw Farm displays good elevations and is constructed of local coarse limestone with Collyweston roof and over a period of time has been substantially extended to incorporate a former hayloft into the main house and an impressive large detached barn, currently used as a games/function room. Throughout the property are exposed and painted beamed ceilings, beams to walls, Cruck beams, stone mullion windows, window seats, deep inglenook fireplaces, tiled floors, exposed stone and an original bread oven.

In brief the accommodation consists: Entrance porch, reception hall, drawing room, dining room/snug room, kitchen, utility room, garden room, shower room, two cloakrooms, principal bedroom suite, five further bedrooms, family bathroom and study/bedroom seven.

The house sits well within the mature grounds which provide complete privacy. A large driveway/stable yard provides ample turning and parking space with access to an open barn, garaging and extensive stabling. The formal gardens are laid mainly to lawn with access to the excellent hard tennis court and to the attractive paddock land. The gardens and paddock land in all amount to some 2.2 acres (0.89 hectares).

Doors from the entrance porch and from the reception hall lead to the dining room and snug room, which are divided by a stone pillar wall with a cream multifuel burner standing on a stone plinth/hearth, two mullion windows and exposed oak beams.
