Situation

The Property is situated in the Low Weald of Kent in the hamlet of Stede Quarter about 1.5 miles from Biddenden and 3 miles north west of the village of High Halden. Lotting

Lot 1 – Tatu Farm Bungalow (red on plan)

Agricultural Occupancy Condition (AOC) – Tatu Farm Bungalow (Lot 1) - Planning Reference WE/8/64/5A
The property is subject to an Agricultural Occupancy Condition which states “the occupation of the dwelling shall be limited to a person employed, or last employed, locally in agriculture, as defined in Section 221 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1962, or in forestry, or a dependent of such a person residing with him (but including a widow or widower of such as person)” .
‘’Agriculture’’ is defined in the Town & Country Planning Act as: horticulture, fruit growing, seed growing, dairy farming, the breeding and keeping of livestock (including any creature kept for the production of food, wool, skins or fur, or for the purpose of its use in the farming of land), the use of land as grazing land, meadow land, osier land, market gardens and nursery grounds, and the use of land for woodlands where that use is ancillary to the farming of land for other agricultural purposes, and “agricultural” shall be construed accordingly.
