One of the most beautiful farm houses in Sussex with useful ancillary accommodation and leisure facilities.

Description

Fishers Farm is a beautiful Grade II listed timber framed farmhouse, dating from the early 17th century. Altered and refaced in the 18th century with further modern additions to the rear, the accommodation is spread over two stories and an attic. Occupying a wonderful countryside setting, surrounded by landscaped gardens and its own land of over 5 acres, yet well placed to enjoy the benefits of the mainline station at Etchingham and access to the A21 and its links to the motorway networks.

Internally the property retains many original features including inglenook fireplaces, leaded windows and exposed timbers whilst retaining a sense of light and good ceiling height to the majority of rooms.

Externally the pool house provides an excellent space to relax or entertain while enjoying the gardens, swimming pool and all-weather tennis court. The barn provides both storage and open bay parking, in addition to the ample off-road parking available at the property. The grounds of Fishers Farm are a delightful mix of both formal and informal, with landscaped gardens, paved terraces and paths providing outdoor entertaining space, together with natural pond, paddock and orchard.

In 2015 the current owners converted one of the large outbuildings into a useful two bedroom cottage.
