A modern country house with beautiful interiors, designed for 21st century family life.

Description

Manor Farm occupies a beautiful rural setting on the edge of the peaceful hamlet of Owlswick, with sweeping views towards the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Owlswick has an abundance of lovely walks, cycle paths and extensive bridleways nearby.

Manor Farm is a beautifully presented country house, built in a traditional style. The house was built in 2006 and has been designed to accommodate family life in the 21st Century. The layout and flow throughout the house is exceptional with a large Kitchen/Breakfast Room (Martin Moore) being the central hub of the property. All the reception rooms on the ground floor are easily accessible off of the generous reception hall. The house has a wonderful outlook in all directions, as it is centrally located within its 11.5 acres of land.

The property has been built with Cat 5 cabling, Sonos built in speakers in the ceilings and underfloor heating throughout.

The accommodation is set out over 2 floors, on the first floor there is a principal Bedroom Suite with Dressing Room and Bathroom, 2 further Double Bedroom Suites and a linen store. On the second floor there are 2 double bedrooms with a family bathroom and a generous storage room.

The house, surrounded by gardens and grounds is accessed via a long drive, passing the beautiful period barn and the main house, eventually arriving at the front of the house in a court yard area. The land has a great balance of formal gardens, agricultural land and young woodland. There are also two wild ponds positioned close to the house with a hive of activity from wildfowl. There is planning permission to build a tennis court to the left of the drive, strategically positioned to be screened off between hedging.

Location

The market town of Princes Risborough provides a selection of everyday shopping facilities, churches, restaurants and a library in addition to a fast Chiltern Line railway connection with London Marylebone (38 minutes) and Birmingham.

More comprehensive facilities can be found in the popular towns of Thame and High Wycombe. Buckinghamshire is renowned for its choice and standard of schooling, both state and private, as the county is one of the last to maintain the traditional grammar school system. These include Ashfold, Godstowe, Swanbourne, Stowe, Wycombe Abbey and Royal Grammar School High.
