A traditional farmhouse with a glorious view.

Description

Lot 1 - Silverton Farmhouse
Silverton Farmhouse is an attractive Victorian home which has an elevated position and glorious southerly views. It has well-proportioned rooms with lots of traditional character. From the main entrance, a neat hall gives access to both the dining room and to the dining kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with painted timber units, black granite work surfaces, a royal blue two oven AGA and an engineered oak floor. It has a utility room and a door to the garden. The principal reception rooms are the sitting room, family room and conservatory all of which are located on the south side of the house. The family room is a cosy informal room with a multi fuel stove, while the sitting room is a more formal room with a gas fire. The conservatory enjoys views over the garden and beyond. There is also a shower room on the ground floor. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms (one en suite) at the front of the house and two further bedrooms and a family bathroom at the rear of the house.

Garden
Silverton Farmhouse is set in about an acre of ground which is largely neat lawn and is beautifully maintained. Clipped hedges, shrubs and low stone walls provide structure to the garden on the western side of the property where there is a sheltered terrace. Beside the driveway is a pretty duck pond.

Outbuildings
A single garage attached to Silverton Cottage belongs to Silverton Farmhouse.
