The Grange is on the Greensand Ridge on the edge of Lidlington, just off the A507 by Woburn Forest, within 4 miles of Woburn and Ampthill. Both these towns have numerous restaurants and boutique shops, and Ampthill also has a Waitrose and the 160 acres Great Ampthill Park (2 miles), which was landscaped by Capability Brown. The village has a thatched public house dating back to the 1600s, a general store and a water sports lake. The village also has a lower school and is in the catchment for Redbourne Upper school, or the Bedford Harpur Trust schools are less than 10 miles away. The property is within 3 miles of the M1 and is only 4 miles from Flitwick for mainline Thameslink train services to St Pancras International (Eurostar connection, 41 minutes) and continuing to the City stations of Farringdon, City Thameslink and Blackfriars. The village is also on the local Bedford to Bletchley train line.
