The land is accessed from the Council maintained country lane over an unmade track. The land is located on the edge of the hamlet of Busveal famous for its historic granite pit and is surrounded by farmland and bordered on the southern and western boundaries by a track. The nearest facilities can be found at Vogue, St Day which are approx. 1½ miles or Redruth approx. 2½ miles.

From the land, extensive views are obtained over St Day towards Mid Cornwall and to the west, views towards the North Cornish Coast.
