From the A38 Devon Expressway travelling south bound towards Plymouth take the Ugborough/Bittaford/Loddiswell junction also signed for Ivybridge railway station. At the top of the slip road turn right. At the 'T' junction turn left onto the B3213, follow the road for approximately 2.5 miles, at the roundabout take the third exit signed for Ivybridge railway station. Rutt Lane is directly ahead to the left of the entrance to Saxon Gate. Follow up the lane for approximately 500 metres and Rutt Farm Cottage is on the right hand side.
