A countryside house in an idyllic setting with stunning views, set in a private position with land and outbuildings.

Description

Brickyard House is a wonderful four bedroom house surrounded by beautiful countryside and set in over four and a half acres.

Situated in a private elevated position and commanding southerly views over the undulated land and the North York Moors National Park. The house extends to 1,993 square feet, with a welcoming entrance hall, leading to the kitchen with a double aspect, exposed beams and a range of units.

Stepping up to the cosy sitting room there are exposed beams and the original stone surround and hearth with the addition of a log burner, alongside which are bespoke hand built units either side. French doors open on to the large garden room which runs the full length of the house and enjoys fabulous uninterrupted views. A ground floor bedroom has been created with bespoke hand built wardrobes. There is a sizeable family bathroom with separate shower and a utility room arranged over the remainder of the ground floor.

To the first floor there are three bedrooms of good proportions all benefitting from superb views along with a WC,

There is an adjoining garage/store with pit and to the side of the house is a brick built outbuilding. The garden is a generous size mainly laid to lawn, with mature hedging and trees. The perimeter is enclosed by a mixture of hedging and post and rail fencing. At the bottom of the garden is a single storey brick outbuilding with store and new roof, ideal for stabling/storage or could be converted to further accommodation subject to the necessary consents.

The first paddock is over two and a half acres acres with a separate entrance, along with two outbuildings, one with a new roof, that are currently used as stabling or could be converted to further accommodation subject to the necessary consents. The second paddock is just over one acre.

The owners currently rent a further field of just over half an acre to the side of the house, from Danby Estate
