Services

The property has been designed to be self-sufficient and 'off grid'. The owner designed his own diesel powered generator system to supply electric to the property in combination with 5KW solar panels and battery storage. The estimated capacity of the combined systems with battery storage is 15KW.

There is no mains electric or water connection.

It should be noted that none of these services have been tested.

Water is supplied via natural spring source from within the boundary of the property.

Drainage is by private means.

The house has been plumbed throughout for a radiator driven central heating system - presumably to be connected to the LPG gas bottle fired Rayburn at a future date. At present the heating is via direct acting electric radiators, together with the main Norwegian woodburning stove in the living room, and the Rayburn Royal and single electric storage heater in the kitchen.

Phoneline is connected.
