A beautifully understated, high quality barn conversion offered to the market for the first time since its renovation 20 years ago. There is a seamless blend of character and contemporary throughout the immaculately presented accommodation, which is arranged over a single storey of generous and thoughtfully designed living space. Views over various aspects of its wonderful landscaped 0.75acre plot, and across the surrounding countryside, are to be enjoyed from almost every window. An abundance of parking is also available for large families and visitors, due to the long private driveway and double garage. A unique home that will suit those seeking the calm of a peaceful rural setting yet could also provide the perfect family home, ideal for social gatherings.
ACCOMMODATION:
The principal entrance to the property opens into a beautifully light, spacious, and welcoming reception hall with a full height vaulted ceiling and fabulous aspect directly through double doors to the courtyard garden. From here you will find access to a dedicated coat and shoe cupboard, a well-appointed cloakroom and a cleverly designed bespoke utility cupboard fitted with work surfaces, storage space, drainer sink and provisions for laundry appliances. From the principal entrance the accommodation extends in opposite directions; to the North into a second reception room/office/hobby space providing a wonderfully flexible room to suit all manor of requirements, and continuing through to the double garage. Whilst there is room here for two cars comfortably, this space could also provide a potential workshop, or with its large roof void, there is perhaps potential to convert and create further accommodation subject to necessary consent.

VENDORS COMMENTS:
If you’re yearning for light and a sense of space, we hope that you’ll love the Linhay as much as we have. We designed the layout of the house while on holiday with our two boys just before our barn conversion project began. It has worked beautifully as a family home.
Latterly, we have focussed our efforts outside to create an expansive garden that is open to the Somerset Levels and yet private too; one of our favourite places to relax is our courtyard garden, which on a sunny day almost manages to convince us that we’ve escaped on a relaxing holiday.
If you’re a party animal, it’s the perfect home. Tucked away, if you’re looking for peaceful seclusion it’s that, and more. Set in a location with big skies, it’s a home with a huge heart!
