A three bedroom detached house of character with outbuilding and 28 acres with fine views.

Description

Ashmore Farm is set in an elevated position at the end of a gravel drive and set back from Haw Lane within the village of Bledlow Ridge. Approached through a five bar gate there is a gravel parking / turning area to the front of the house whilst the drive continues to the rear of the house where there is further parking and a detached garage with open store. A further five bar gate opens onto a tree lined track which provides access to the land and stables.

Ashmore Farm house was built during the 1980s and as of February 2023 is undergoing a program of internal refurbishment. Unconventionally the living space is reversed with the ground floor offering the reception hall, principal bedroom with en suite shower room, second bedroom, family bathroom and a utility room with double doors to the rear of the property. The first floor has a large reception room with a wide bay window to make the most of the fine views available from the elevated position on Bledlow Ridge. At the rear of the house is the kitchen / breakfast room and third bedroom, which both have views across the garden. There is also a cloakroom on the first floor.

Outside
A gated driveway leads on to a good sized parking area. To the rear is a garden laid to lawn with an octagonal summer house, immediately to the rear of the property situated between the house and the detached garage building. The land is arranged as permanent pasture and is accessible from the drive to Ashmore Farm and also a secondary field access along Haw Lane. Registered as a working farm / small holding Ashmore Farm has been in receipt of a single farm payment. The land is well managed and arranged as five fields. There is a small area of woodland on the northern boundary. Ashmore Farm represents a rare opportunity to acquire a manageable house with the benefit of a good landholding. It will therefore suit those purchasers requiring good pasture land or seeking a house which has potential for further development and possible enlargement subject to any necessary planning consents. The land is supported by a detached stable building with an open store to one side. The land has troughs supplied by mains water supply and there is a field shelter.
