LOCATION

Gruids is a Crofting Community approximately 2 miles from the village of Lairg. Lying at the head of Loch Shin some 50 miles north of Inverness. Lairg is very central to everything the Northern Highlands has to offer and from here the roads lead to the east, north and west coasts. DIRECTIONS

From the main street in Lairg turn left at the T junction onto the A836 - then turn right onto the Black bridge signposted Ferrycroft where you are then onto the A839. Stay on this road following directions to Rosehall for approx. 2 miles. You will pass a white property on the right hand side of the road, once you pass this property you will see a fork on the right hand side take that road an go up it for approx. 0.5 miles then you will see the track on the left hand side of the road taking you up to Rhians. This track is roughly 370m from the bottom on the road.

The L-shaped steading is a traditional stone built building with a metal sheet roof over. The building has goo redevelopment potential subject to gaining the necessary consents.
