The village of Sheldon is nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Blackdown Hills, a popular area of Devon that is conveniently located having easy access to Honiton, Cullompton, Tiverton and Taunton, yet being surrounded by some of East Devon's most beautiful and unspoilt countryside. Sheldon sits between the villages of Dunkeswell, Broadhembury, Hemyock and Blackborough, offering a selection of village stores and pubs within the locality. To the south is the market town of Honiton, which provides a good selection of everyday amenities and access to the A30. Tiverton and Cullompton to the west also offer a good selection of shopping and leisure facilities and regular farmers markets.
