What the Owner says:
The barn was converted about 25 years ago but when we moved here about nine years ago, we modernised the inside to include new oak doors and the staircase as well as installing a new kitchen. The grandchildren have loved being able to use the paddock and the side lane access is owned by us although our neighbours have a right of way over it.
We have thoroughly enjoyed living in this charming village as it is very quiet and peaceful as well as being secluded and safe for children and pets. However we feel it is time for us to downsize and move nearer our children. We hope new owners will be able to get as much pleasure from this lovely family home as we have over the past few years.
Hoath is a charming village with a friendly community and includes a good primary school that kids can walk to as well as a variety of activities in the village hall from yoga and the gardening club to toddler and youth groups. If you want a drink or a meal out the Prince of Wales pub and restaurant is only a short walk. It is not far to Herne Bay or Sturry where both primary schools are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and there is Kings Junior private school. There are also a number of excellent grammar and private schools in Canterbury, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Sandwich. It is only a short distance to Broomfield with its local store and post office while Sainsbury's is a three minute drive.
