Description - The woodland is known as Triscombe Copse and totals approximately 3.88 acres (1.57 hectares) which forms part of a larger mixed deciduous wood. There are some exceptional mature oak and beech trees which create a very attractive setting, in additional to younger sweet chestnut, Scots Pine and birch trees throughout the wood.
The wood is mostly level or very gently sloping with a stream adjacent to the northern boundary and at ground level there are some hazel coppice, ferns, grasses and an abundance of bluebells during the spring months with open areas throughout.
