The woodland is located in Culford along West Stow Road, to the north of Bury St Edmunds.

From the Bury St Edmunds office take the B1106 through Fornham St Genevieve. At the roundabout head towards Culford and continue until the first turning to West Stow. Stay on this road for approximately 1.3km and the woodland will be on the left hand side, accessed via a wooden gate.

The Land
The woodland extends to approximately 37.21 acres (15.06 ha) and is located on the south side of West Stow Road. The woodland is largely deciduous, made up of a variety of Birch, Maple and small areas of Conifers trees and others species.

Access
The woodland benefits from a long frontage along the West Stow Road. Access to the woodland from the highway is through a wooden gate approximately 200m west of Little Farm, which leads to the woodlands glades and rides.
