The site comprises the former Maternity Unit, Ludlow Hospital. The former Maternity Unit forms part of the Ludlow Hospital site, the

balance of which shall be retained. The former Maternity Unit is a two storey brick building, constructed in the mid 1800's with later extensions. The building has been vacant for a number of years and is in need of refurbishment.

The building has a GIA of approximately 4,470 sq ft (415 sq m) and sits in a site of approximate 0.5 acres, assuming a site as outlined in yellow, which will allow continued access to the balance of the operational hospital site.

Although the exact boundary of the site to be sold is to be discussed and agreed. Access to the former Maternity Unit when sold

will be via Gravel Hill and no access rights will be granted over the site to be retained via New Road.
