Treovis is a small hamlet, in South East Cornwall, within an area of unspoilt Cornish countryside between the Lynher valley conservation area and Bodmin Moor ANOB. The character of the area is determined by its lush farmland, traditional villages, ancient moorland landscapes and beautiful rivers. The beaches of the north and south coasts are easily accessible as are such tourist favorites as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the surrounding countryside offers plenty of activities, especially for walkers, cyclists and horse riding as there are many foot and bridle paths in the area. Bodmin Moor itself, offers a wild playground to explore and leisure facilities including Siblyback Lake and Country Park, offering water sports and further outdoor activities. For the golfing enthusiast, there are courses within easy reach including the famous St. Mellion course near Saltash and Lanhydrock near Bodmin.

The delightful village of Upton Cross, approximately 1 mile away, offers a post office/stores, primary school, village pub as well as the unique Sterts open air theatre. Liskeard has a good range of shopping facilities and a mainline rail link to London Paddington. Launceston is located near to the A30 dual carriageway which provides excellent road links both East and West. For those needing further amenities, there is Plymouth to the south, Exeter in the East and Truro to the west.

Directions

From the A30, exit at Plusha and take the B3257 towards Congdon's Shop. At the crossroads in Congdon's Shop, turn right onto the B3254 and proceed signposted to Liskeard. After crossing the bridge at Berriobridge, proceed through Middlewood and take the second left hand turn to Treovis. Upon entering the hamlet, turn left at the small triangle onto an unmade road, where the entrance to Treovis Cottage will be found after a short distance, on the right hand side.
