Description

Horseshoe House is believed to date back to the mid 18th century and built originally as a pair of farm workers cottages which were then later extended and remodelled.

The ground floor accommodation includes two reception rooms with period features including exposed ceiling timbers and inglenook fireplaces, the well proportioned kitchen/breakfast room has a range of fitted cupboards and space for appliances, a door leads to a rear lobby with walk-in larder and a further door gives access to the integral double garage. Also on the ground floor are two office/studies, a cloakroom and a sun room with outlook over the pretty cottage gardens and stream.

On the first floor are three bedrooms, all with fitted storage cupboards, one bedroom has the benefit of an en suite shower room and there is a very sizeable family bathroom with a bath and shower, there is also plenty of storage cupboards including an airing cupboard.

The pretty cottage gardens are a real feature of the property which are planted with a variety of flowers and shrubs providing an array of colour throughout the seasons. There is also a natural stream with wooden bridge. Access to the property is from Kings Bank Lane over a cattle grid leading to the long private drive, flanked on both sides by grass and mature shrubs. There is parking and turning for several vehicles.
