Lime Kiln Cottage is situated on the North coast of Somerset in a rural location to the edge to the Hamlet of Stolford. Stolford lies close to the Bristol Channel whilst further to the West are the Quantock Hills, an area designated of being of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The larger village of Stogursey is approximately two miles distant and provides local facilities and the town of Bridgwater about 10 miles. The county town of Taunton can be reached over the hills and access to the M5 motorway can be reached at junctions 23 and 24 at Bridgwater. Within about 2 miles or so of the property is the well-known Stockland Lovell Manor cross country course whilst there are also a number of bridle paths in the area including those along the common by the coastline and the newly formed Steart marshes.
