There are primary schools located in the nearby villages of Billesdon and Tugby. Public schools are at Oakham, Uppingham, Oundle, Stamford and Leicester and preparatory schools within commutable distance include Stoneygate at Great Glen, Maidwell Hall and Spratton Hall.

The A47 lies 3 miles south of the property, offering good east-west access to Leicester (M1) and Peterborough (A1), whilst Rutland Water, just 9 miles distant, offers a wide array of recreational pursuits.

Directions

Travelling from Market Harborough, head north on the B6047 crossing over the A47. On reaching Tilton on the Hill, take the first right hand turning, signposted to Halstead and Loddington, and then the second left along the Oakham Road. About 2km out of the village take a left along Hyde Lodge Road, signposted to Marefield. Follow this road for about 3.5 km until you reach Marefield and Old Manor Farmhouse is the first house on your right hand side.
