Brokerswood is a small hamlet with 80 acres of ancient woodland just outside the village of Rudge. It is 4 miles west of Westbury, 5 miles east of Frome and approximately 11 miles from the World Heritage city of Bath. There is a good country pub close by. There are miles of unspoilt countryside walks and the area has a variety of wildlife and birds. Communications are good with the A36 (Bath to Salisbury) at Standerwick, giving access on to the A303 and the M3. Access to the M4 to the north of Bath can be gained at Bath or Chippenham. There are main line railway stations at Westbury (4 miles), Frome and Bath, all connecting direct to London Paddington (80 minutes).For the equestrian or smallholder, Mole Valley Farmers, a farmer's co-operative store selling farm products, garden and pet supplies, domestic goods and power tools, is situated in the nearby village of Standerwick (about 3 miles towards Frome).
