The main farmhouse offers luxurious accommodation over two floors with a wine cellar beneath. At the front of the property you find two luxurious reception rooms which look out over the formal gardens to the front and side of the home. The larger room has an open fire, with a wood burning stove in the secondary reception room.
Each entertaining space enjoys twin aspect outlooks over the gardens. Next to the secondary reception room is a spacious study/home office which looks out over the main courtyard to the side of the house. Opposite the study is the ground floor cloakroom and access to the cellar. Proceeding back into the eighteenth century portion of the property you arrive at the formal dining room which leads back into the farmhouse kitchen.
The dining room offers a fantastic space for hosting and has windows to two sides along with an ornate fireplace as a focal point. The farmhouse kitchen is a wonderful hub to the property and offers the perfect space for the family to gather. The handmade kitchen by local master craftsman Barry Wade is complemented by a bespoke colour matched Aga cooker. There are two large windows to the courtyard and a window and a door to the gardens on the opposite wall. A door from the kitchen leads into the large utility/boot room at the rear of the property.
This incredibly useful space provides ample storage and the alternative entrance to the property for everyday use. Two staircases lead up to the first floor, the main formal staircase from the entrance hall and a servants’ staircase that leads off the kitchen. The twin primary bedroom suites at the front of the property are truly impressive and offer luxurious ensuite accommodation. The master bedroom offers a large walk-in dressing room along with a full-sized bathroom and spacious bedroom area. The junior master similarly offers an ensuite bathroom, access to a large storage cupboard, and views over the rolling fields that surround the home. Proceeding back to the rear of the property you find two further large double bedrooms along with a family bathroom between them.
The servants’ staircase is found next to the bathroom and leads down into the kitchen. Two rows of traditional stone barns that run to the eastern side of the main house and form a court yard and provide fantastic accommodation options for a buyer. The barns were completely reroofed and renovated by the current owners. Within the court yard are two self-contained barn conversions offering two and one and a half bedrooms each.
These two properties are completely independent of the main home and offer wonderful options for extended family or guests. The rest of the space in the barns is used for fantastic storage, entertaining space and to house the estate’s twin biomass boilers.
In addition to the main home and the barns there is a detached three bedroom cottage found off the entrance drive which is let. The letting could continue or be sold with vacant possession depending on the needs of the new owner. Rosehill Farm also has numerous outbuildings, sheds, garages, kennelling, and farm buildings, including a newly renovated fifty by seventy five foot general purpose farm shed. The land at Rosehill extends to circa sixty acres of grounds. The land is successfully farmed by the current owners but there are options for this to be subcontracted should it not be of interest to a buyer. Whatever the usage of the land, the complete privacy it provides Rosehill Farm, which sits at the centre of it, is truly remarkable.
Positioned in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Countryside the property beautifully combines total rural seclusion and tranquillity with easy access to the county’s main trunk roadways. Port Talbot Parkway is an hour and Cardiff airport is an hour and a half by car. Rosehill Farm offers what is undoubtably the pinnacle of country living and is a truly unique offering on the open market
