The Old School was built in 1824 by Robert Abraham as a Protestant Free School and has since been refurbished to create an outstanding and unique home that reflects the original flair and creativity of the present owner. The house is Grade II listed and built of Ashlar limestone under a slate roof, with a central octagon with a crenallated parapet above, and rooms on cardinal points forming a Latin cross.
