DESCRIPTION
A sizeable and regular shaped poplar woodland with good roadside access. The plantation comprises four main even-aged stands of mainly poplars (Belarus & Ghoy) with a central ride and mixed native trees between the main stands. It was planted under a Woodland Grant Scheme in 2001. In 2008/9 several blocks were taken out and replaced with Ash, Field Maple and Cherry. The trees are well-established and were planted with even spacing, allowing for ease of management.
The woodland extends to circa 41 acres and is ideal for productive uses as well as for an attractive parcel of amenity woodland and investment purposes.
DIRECTIONS
From Shrewsbury take the B5062 towards Newport. Go straight over the staggered crossroads at Crudgington and take the second lane on the right, Crudgington Moor Lane. Continue along Crudgington Moor Lane for 0.8 miles. The woodland will be on the left hand side indicated by a Halls sale board.
