Handsome, distinctive and characterful Grade II Listed farmhouse with double garage and workshop, set in a superb village centre plot of just under one third of an acre, offered with no ongoing chain

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

Property is not just about specification and contemporary refinements, but also about how a home feels and the character, history and atmosphere it enjoys. This delightful one off home excels in regards to the latter and is well worthy of early inspection. It is offered with no ongoing chain and is gully deserving of its Grade II Listed status.

The location is superb, with the plot extending to circa 0.31 acre and the grounds incorporating lovely formal gardens, extensive off road parking and a large double garage and workshop. It has been a much loved and treasured family home for many years standing, has been subject to some recent modernisation, not least with two new bathrooms and also in other areas has the clear need to be modernised and updated to the new owners specification and taste.

As the photographs demonstrate, this a house rich in character and period detail. There is also very substantial space. The overall size is circa 2935 square feet and this is presently arranged as five bedrooms plus additional upstairs study, two stylish modern bathrooms, five reception rooms and a large breakfast kitchen.

This is a home that I loved the moment I walked through the door. It has instantly strong aesthetics, a unique character and extensive potential to be further enhanced by the new owners.
