Pencelli is a popular village located in the Usk Valley just 5 miles from Brecon. It has a small village pub and is well known for the Monmouthshire to Brecon canal which runs through the heart of the village providing excellent walks in an easterly and westerly direction along the towpath.

Brecon which is about 5 miles offers a good choice of local amenities including supermarkets, leisure centre complex, theatre, cinema, etc. whilst Abergavenny is approximately 14 miles away with a train station providing links to South Wales and great road links to the M4 at Newport and the M5 near Bristol.
