Excellent farmhouse with an extended kitchen whilst needing an element of modernisation. Situated in a beautiful setting with views towards the village cricket pitch

Description

Hayne Farm is a wonderful, south facing stone-built farmhouse which was once part of an active farm and enjoys many features you would expect from a farmhouse, including exposed timbers and Inglenook fireplaces. Now, this delightful home has a lovely approach and setting, overlooking the village cricket club in the distance. Inside, the current owners have created a superb double aspect kitchen/dining room with a vaulted ceiling and an excellent vista out over the gardens. Adjacent to this is a very useful pantry, utility room and downstairs shower room.

The two reception rooms are of particular interest and full of charm, both of which enjoy a feature Inglenook fireplace whilst the living room has exposed beams. Further accommodation on the ground floor includes an office/bedroom six.

Stairs rise to the first floor where there is five bedrooms and two bathrooms in total. The principal bedroom benefits from an en site shower room and southerly views out over the front garden and paddock, alongside bedroom two and three.

Hayne Farm presents an exciting opportunity for the next owners to enhance this great family home which is in an excellent semi-rural position.

Gardens and Grounds
Outside, Hayne Farm is approached via a long private drive flanked by open countryside. To the front is a pretty, established garden with a path leading to the front door. To the rear and wrapping around to the west side of the farmhouse is a further garden/orchard with a store building. To the front and on the opposite side of the drive is the paddock which provides a great outlook from the house.
