Please note that as a result of the interest shown in Pen y Parc Mawr, we have been instructed by our client to request all interested parties to submit their final offer in writing to us by 12 noon on Tuesday 21st June.

Pen Y Parc is an old farmstead in need of some restoration and offers wonderful potential to an incoming purchaser. The property is an old farmhouse which occupies an elevated vantage point providing tremendous views up and down the valley.

The property has a short drive off the road and is in need of some renovation and a full refurbishment. The original part of the property dates back to the 17th / 18th Century and has been extended over time. There is a utility room, cloakroom, open-plan kitchen / living room, a snug and a sitting room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The farmyard has a range of buildings to be utilised including a large multipurpose storage shed, a large open sided Dutch barn and a two bedroom caravan.

There is also a smaller brick building which could easily be converted into an annex, staff accommodation or holiday let if required.

The land occupies some 32 acres (12.95 Ha) of predominantly grazing land, split into stock fenced fields surrounding the property.

There is potentially more land available to rent.

Pen Y Parc would easily make a wonderful location for a smallholding, as a multi-generation purchase or allowing a purchaser to renovate the property installing something newer and more modern.

Local amenities are based in Llanfechain which has a primary school, shop and a post office. A short distance away is Llansanffraid with a petrol station, shop and restaurants. For more general requirements, Oswestry, Welshpool and Shrewsbury provide everything else that is required.

Please Note: The Vendor is unable to confirm if the septic tank meets the General Binding rules.

Please contact the Agent prior to booking a viewing regarding the shed.
