The lake and its margins support a wide range of plants fom the submerged alternate water milfoil, the floating white & yellow water-lilies & emergent water horsetail to the varied wetland species such as scull cap, gipsywort & yellow loosestrife rushes & sedges.

There is a current arrangement with the farmer at Bwlch Llyn Uchaf to park in their carpark and the owners and fishermen have previously walked to the site.
The arrangement on parking will cease for the new owners and viewers.
The Deeds refer to a right of passage to the lake across numerous fields not belonging to the owners of the lake ( a copy is available from the Agents office).
