The Penzance harbour and the promenade are both charming and interesting, featuring the open-air seawater Jubilee Bathing Pool, one of the country’s last surviving Art Deco examples. The famous Minack Theatre is close by and the picturesque seaside town of St. Ives, approximately 15 minutes drive, is home to the Tate Modern Gallery and a plethora of bars, restaurants and shops. Sea links to the Isles of Scilly are available with a mainline railway link to London Paddington.
