Stowting is one of my favourite North Downs villages -- Alex Davies, Managing Director

#TheGardenOfEngland

A well-appointed rural equestrian country property and family house with gardens, paddocks, stables and a riding arena. The popular village of Stowting is situated in a fold of the North Downs surrounded by countryside designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with many walks and rides.
In all about 7.30 acres.

A well-presented detached family house enjoying wonderful rural aspects and views over its own extensive land. The accommodation includes a spacious ‘Thoroughly Wood’ kitchen with dining and soft seating areas as well as an Aga, island, bespoke larder unit and both oak and granite surfaces. The sitting room enjoys good views and has a stylish corner wood burning stove. There are four bedrooms arranged over both floors including a master bedroom en-suite with dressing area.

Outside/Gardens
The house is approached from a wide gravel driveway with plenty of parking and turning space for both domestic vehicles and horse boxes. There are attractive gardens surrounding the house with new fencing, a pergola, lawns, fish pond, greenhouse and a vegetable garden.

Equestrian Facilities
1) Accessed from the driveway is a Detached Barn providing three stables, a feed/hay store and garage workshop.
2) From the driveway there is also access to an Olympic size Riding Arena (about 60m by 20m) with floodlighting and a combination of rubber and silica sand surface.

Land/Paddocks
The land is currently divided into six fenced paddocks with secondary access from Scot’s Lane.

Riding/Hacking
The North Downs is particularly favoured by equestrian enthusiasts where there is access to generally quieter lanes offering good gradients for riding and exercising horses and ponies. The North Downs also offers bridleways and part of the North Downs Way runs to one side of the land.

Situated in the highly regarded and sought-after rural village of Stowting which lies within undulating North Downs countryside, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with many walks and bridle paths easily accessible. The village is well known for its primary school and popular pub/restaurant The Tiger. There is a pretty parish church, community hall and a delightful cricket green. The village is surprisingly accessible within reach of the B2068 Stone Street, which provides a swift route between the Cathedral City of Canterbury and the M20 motorway (Jct. 11). There are mainline railway stations at both Sandling and Westenhanger, each connecting with the International station at Ashford with HS1 services to London St. Pancras taking just 37 minutes. The Channel Tunnel is about 6 miles distant and the port of Dover, about 14 miles.
The surrounding area is well served by an excellent choice of schools both in the state and independent sectors including grammar schools for both boys and girls with school busses running nearby. Services
