The woodland is situated off Clifton Road in between the rural villages of Netherseal and Clifton Campville in the county of South Derbyshire. Description
The property extends to approximately 6.9 acres and comprises of a block of woodland which runs down to Seal Brook. The woodland has the benefit of an extraction license from Seal Brook.

The woodland was originally planted in 2003 under the National Forest Tender Scheme. The woodland is well established broad leaf woodland which includes common alder, ash, silver birch, crack willow, hawthorn, blackthorn oak, ash, sweet chestnut, field maple, walnut and wild cherry.

Woodland Grant Scheme
The woodland was established under the National Forest Tender Scheme in 2003. The agreement has reached the end of the annual payment period however as per the schemes requirements the land should remain under appropriate woodland management for a period of 30 year and felling licenses must be applied for the removal of trees.
