Vendor Comments

Tirbach, which translates as Small Lands, has been our family home since 1998, it was built in 1889 as can be seen on the stone on the barn.

The interesting history of Tirbach is that it has been documented in several books to be found in the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth. This tells the story of John Jones who built Tirbach and was the instigator of the mass emigration from the village of Cilcennin to Ohio.

.

You will notice there are two staircases-one going down into the kitchen for use of the servants.
Local farmers would bring their grain to the barn for threshing. Take a look at the Tybach in the corner of the small lawn-a 4 seater toilet!

Now our family has grown up and left home, we feel it is finally time to allow others to enjoy what Tirbach has to offer. A beautiful home in secluded and safe surroundings.
