Description
An increasingly rare opportunity to be able to create a superb contemporary family home set in approximately 3.4 acres of paddocks and grounds in a rural yet convenient location.
Planning consent was granted in August 2022 to remove the existing agricultural barn and to allow for the erection of a new dwelling.
The proposed accommodation will comprise an open plan living space which incorporates the kitchen, dining and sitting areas with full height windows that make the most of the outlook over the land. There is a separate reception room with an ensuite shower room could be used as fourth bedroom or a study/snug. On the ground floor there is also a useful utility space.
The first floor has three double bedrooms with one and the master having an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom also has a dressing room and a wonderful view through the full height windows. There is also a separate family bathroom and a storage cupboard.
The planning reference is 2022/0953/FUL and a copy of the consent and plans are available to download from the Mendip District Council website ( Subject to gaining any of the relevant consents the current layout and design could be altered to suit.
