Description

Brimming with charm and character Box Cottage is set at the heart of this wonderful village and occupies a generous plot of 0.25 acres (0.1 hectares), believed to have been constructed in the nineteenth century. Traditional in style and character with two reception rooms, kitchen and utility on the ground floor, the cottage features three bedrooms, bathroom with separate WC and useful store on the first floor. Whilst updates have been made over the years with oil fired central heating and some double glazed windows the property provides an ideal opportunity and the space for one to improve and extend (subject to necessary permissions), indeed the outbuildings at the end of the garden could well be developed to suit one's needs.

Accommodation

The internal accommodation totals approximately 130 square metres (1400 square feet) gross internal area (GIA) which includes the adjoining single storey utility rooms to the rear. The accommodation provides storm porch, entrance lobby, sitting room, dining room, kitchen, rear hall, utility room, store, three first floor bedrooms, bathroom, separate WC and box/ store room. There is a timber greenhouse (12' x 9') behind the property and at the far end of the garden is a timber summerhouse together with driveway access and parking. Beyond the parking is a timber outbuilding comprising two loose boxes, a cart shed and tack area. The gardens are mainly lawn but with well stocked borders and good privacy to both front and rear.
