In 2022, the current owners received planning consent (subject to s.75 planning agreement) for the construction of seven residential houses, some with direct shore frontage. This provides a wonderful development opportunity to create seven houses with privacy, amenity and a wonderful coastal outlook. It is accessed via the main A87 road which leads from the Skye bridge. Rising along the shores of the northern and eastern boundaries, the ground rises to the peaks of Meallan a Bhealaich Bhric (122 metres) to the west, Meall Buide (279 metres) and Meall a Mhaoil (284 metres) centrally and Drum nan Cleochd (234 metres) to the south.

The terrain varies from foreshore, to rough grazing, amenity and commercial woodland to hill ground. The land comprise of 1,163.17 acres hill, 267 acres woodland, and 38.41 acres access to shoreline.

Forestry
There are a few blocks of mixed broadleaf and coniferous woodland which extend to about 108 hectares (267 acres) and were planted in 1990 and 2009.

Sporting
Moll has a population of stags on the hill and offers wintering ground for hinds. Whilst the stalking has not been let for the last 6 years, previously the stalking rights were let to a local tenant and it was understood that about 5 stags and 10 hinds were culled each year.

Moll is situated on the eastern shores of central Isle of Skye with views across Loch Ainort and towards the islands of Scalpay and Raasay. Accessed via the main A87 from the Skye bridge, the small crofting townships of Luib and Sconser are on the doorstep. Sconser has a ferry terminal with a regular service to neighbouring Rasaay and is also home to the Isle of Skye golf course. The village of Broadford (12 miles) has a range of local amenities including several shops, doctor's surgery, hospital, a supermarket, hotels, restaurants and a primary school. Portree the island's capital is 14 miles to the north providing more extensive facilities.

The nearest railway station is at Kyle of Lochalsh with direct services to Inverness where the airport (106 miles) has regular domestic and international flights. There are also ferry links from Mallaig to Armadale at the south of the island and from Uig to the Outer Hebrides in the north.

Skye offers excellent outdoor and sporting opportunities with an abundance sailing and watersports, walking and mountaineering to suit all abilities, as well as stalking, shooting and fishing throughout the year. Skye is one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the UK with up to 650,000 visitors per annum.
