Tucked away on Church Lane with the pretty St Mary's Church at its end, Number Five is a very attractive detached three double bedroom house with wonderful sea views from the rear. Downstairs the house has an excellent balance of living space with a well proportioned reception room to the front with a log burning stove forming the centrepiece of the room, whilst to the rear is a very good sized kitchen and dining room with french doors out to the west facing garden, as well as a very useful utility room and pantry. Upstairs there is a principal bedroom with its own en-suite shower room whilst the other two large double bedrooms share the family bathroom.
There is a large front to rear integral garage which obviously has potential to create additional internal living space should you wish, especially as outside and to the front there is off street parking for two or three cars.
The garden to the rear is laid to lawn and backs onto open farmland so giving the house both a sense of space as well as privacy. Number Five is a relatively new addition to the village having been built some nine years ago and, as such, it is presented in good decorative order throughout. In addition it is perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful coastal views that are synonymous with Titchwell as well as being a very short walk from Titchwell Manor and Briarfields (0.25m) The Ship in Brancaster (0.8m) and Brancaster beach and Golf Club (1.5m).
TITCHWELL Titchwell is a small coastal hamlet on the A149 coast road between the two hugely popular villages of Brancaster and Thornham. It's in the centre of the North West Norfolk Conservation Area and has great views across the flooded marshes and reed beds. Titchwell has one of the finest RSPB bird reserves in Great Britain. It covers 515 acres and you can see dunlin, ruffs, ringed plovers, kingfishers, godwits, curlews and several types of terns. You may even be lucky enough to see and hear a bittern or see a marsh harrier 'sky dancing'. There are two hotels - Titchwell Manor and Briarfields, both with good restaurants, and the Ship Inn, in Brancaster is around 1km away. There's an excellent beach, and the church of St Mary the Virgin with an 11th century round tower built with local flints. Burnham Market is nearby, with its village green surrounded by 18th century houses, shops, designer boutiques and, of course, The Hoste Arms, one of the most popular places to eat and drink in Norfolk.
