Cusop is situated on the Herefordshire side of the Wales-England border and is recognised as being one of the most desirable parts of Hay. Cusop Dingle is renowned for its lovely scenery and the Offa's Dyke footpath, which runs close by. Hay-on-Wye is a thriving market town that is the north eastern gateway to Brecon Beacons National Park. It has a wide range of bookshops, restaurants, public houses and shops, etc. The Cathedral city of Hereford (20 miles) and market town of Brecon (15 miles) offer a wider range of facilities. The surrounding area is noted for its outstanding natural beauty, with a wide range of country walks, riding and outdoor pursuits, all readily available.

A WALK INSIDE

From the porch, you step into the grand entrance hall with original wooden floors and open staircase to the first floor. To your right is a comfortable library, with built-in wooden bookshelves and open fireplace.

An elegant and spacious reception room is found at the southwest corner of the house with doors that open out to the garden. There is a large dining room with a feature fireplace and double doors onto the rear patio and gardens.

Along the hallway there is a kitchen and handy utility space with access to the cellar that provides a traditional wine cellar.

At the end of the hallway is a garden room with en-suite facilities which could serve as a guest accommodation and a further kitchen and sitting room that forms part of the annex.

FIRST FLOOR & THE TOWER

On ascending the staircase, you will find a wrap-around gallery landing. From here doors lead to the six bedrooms of the main house with a further door to the self contained annex.

The largest bedroom (bedroom 1) has wooden floors, a free-standing bath, W.C, and access through double doors onto a balcony, which has spectacular views over the garden and open countryside.

There are five further bedrooms on this floor with feature fireplaces and two with en-suite bathrooms. The annex comprises a dining room and kitchen, bathroom and separate W.C, two double bedrooms, a self- contained study and sitting room. The tower on the second floor provides panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
